No less than 600 guests wanted to join the great party with which Schneider Weisse celebrated the art of living in general and the art of brewing great wheat beers in particular at the Weisses Bräuhaus in Kelheim. Even after 46. consecutive years the strong beer feast has not lost its attraction: Wheat beer aficionados from all over Germany, Austria, Switzerland, The Netherlands and Italy came together and turned night into day, all fired up for a party to remember by cult band "Blechblos'n", whose unrivaled mixture of traditional Bavarian folk music and all-time party hits kept no one on their seats.
So it didn't take long to turn the venerable Bräuhaus into a true boiling pot - which even a man of silent reflection like St. Aventinus, name giver of our legendary wheat "Doppelbock" would have enjoyed dearly ... we'd like to thank you all for coming and your endurance in celebrating with us.
